Antoine Brimbal

Antoine is a conflict journalist from France and Serbia. He began his career in conflict journalism by founding and developing The Modern Insurgent without any former contacts, investments, or experience in the world of journalism. Thanks to the outlet's success, he then joined international crews to film documentaries around the world, ranging from the hiding spots of Maoist war criminals in Nepal to reporting on Hezbollah in Lebanon.

He is also a student of International Relations at IE University in Madrid, Spain. Antoine is fluent in 5 languages and his interest in politics, conflict/security studies, and diplomacy have led him to combine his on-the-ground experience in conflict zones (obtained via conflict journalism) with more diplomatic/political efforts (through his work in international organisations). Antoine's background also involves academic debates, public speaking events, and analytical research.
