Ibrahim Moiz is a history student and writer who specializes in modern conflict, resolution, and armed groups, particularly in Africa and Asia. He has a book under editing on the Afghan Taliban movement and has also written extensively in both media and academia on wars in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Chad, Algeria, and other countries. He studied Political Science and History at the University of Toronto and is on sabbatical from a Masters’ degree at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies. Ibrahim’s passion is to incorporate the history of irregular warfare into public knowledge of modern history.
