Robert 'Bobby' Acuña

Robert “Bobby” Acuña is a graduate of Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with both a BBA in Economics and a BA in Political Science. He was originally born in The Philippines but lived much of his life in Corpus Christi, Texas. He currently resides in Houston, Texas. From an early age, Bobby has always had a passion for politics as well as studying war history. This led him to his educational path in university. One of his favorite aspects of his collegiate career was political research and -- since graduating in 2012 -- The Modern Insurgent has been able to fill that void. Outside of his interest in studying politics and global conflict, Bobby is also an avid rugby player as well as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner.
