Shane Burke

Shane is a 23 year old from Cork, Ireland. He is currently studying Social and Cultural Anthropology at University College London. Shane is interested in post-conflict societies, with a particular focus on meta-narratives and the role of the media and researchers in producing these narratives. By amalgamating research techniques such as critical discourse analysis, ethnography, and data analysis, he endeavours to unravel the multifaceted nature of political violence's aftermath, providing valuable insights into the complexities of post-conflict societies and the factors that facilitate their healing and transformation.
